Educational allowance
Payable if a parent reduces their professional work to no more than twenty hours a week in order to raise one or more children, providing they do not engage in a professional activity and are the primary carer for the child/ren. They must be in receipt of family allowance and the amount is payable until the child’s second birthday.
- 485.01 € per month full-time;
- 242.51 € per month part-time.
Education leave cannot be taken in conjunction with parental leave.
