National funding
The FNR (an independent institution with funding from
the Ministry of Culture, Higher Education and Research)
is responsible for receiving, managing and distributing
funds and donations from public and private sources.
The FNR has programmes for individual researchers
(PHD and postdoc funding) and also for institutional
projects (see other funding).
