Beginning of school year allowance

This allowance is payable to all families who qualify for family allowance, with one or more children aged six to eighteen. (27 if full-time student). It is paid by sliding scale depending on how many children you have and their ages:

• 113.15 € for one child over six;
• 161.67€ for one child over twelve;

• 194.02 € if two children over six;
• 242.47 € if two children over twelve;

• 284.82 € if three or more children over six;
• 323.34 € if three or more children over twelve.

This is paid automatically at the end of the month the school year starts (usually September) providing the child is enrolled for family allowance.
