Luxembourg’s airline, Luxair, has regular passenger services from/to the main European destinations. Other airlines (Air France, British Airways, KLM, Lufthansa, Easyjet and many others) also fly to Luxembourg.
The national railway network covers most major towns and cities and there are excellent international connections to Germany, Belgium, France (TGV for Paris). The regional and urban bus network is very dense. City Night Buses are for free (Friday and Saturday nights from 21.30 to 3.30 every 15 minutes). Moreover a new tram is changing mobility in Luxembourg City.
You can travel anywhere on Luxembourg’s public transport network, with the short time ticket(2 € for 2 hours) or the day ticket (4€). For frequent travel, a monthly or annual season ticket gives you a convenient alternative.
The journey from Luxembourg City to Belval University railway station takes about half an hour.
Tickets can be bought at train stations, tram stations, major bus stations, at ticket vending machines, directly in the bus or online (web: mshop.lu, app: mticket).
Alternative to paper tickets: The mKaart is a public transport Chip Card. You can preload it.
Cycling in the city and surrounding suburbs has become increasingly popular for residents. The city has invested heavily in an extensive network of cycle paths, which has grown considerably over the past few years.

If you do not own a bicycle, you can always rent one. Luxembourg and Esch/Alzette both offer schemes to rent bikes cheaply by the hour.
