The sector is interested in scientific and didactic-training activities, as well as in the assistance activities appropriate to them in the field of general hematology and pathophysiology and clinical diseases of the blood, haemostasis and blood-forming organs. The areas of clinical and research expertise are functional and instrumental semeiotics and clinical methodology and therapy in hematology with specific skills in the field of hematological oncology, transfusion therapy and the manipulation and clinical use of stem cells. The sector is also interested in scientific and didactic-training activities, as well as assistance activities appropriate to them in the field of medical oncology with specific skills in clinical, cellular and molecular oncological research and in their applications to clinical diagnostics and pathology therapy cancer and palliative care.
