Your duties
- Self-reliant research and publication in the field of migration, diversity and education
- Collaboration in conception, submission and realisation of research bids and development projects
- Active participation in national and international conferences
- Participation in "Migration - Diversity - Education" unit
- Local, national and international cooperation with research partners and educational institutions
- Self-reliant implementation of teaching courses according to the collective-agreement framework; support of assessment tasks
- Co-Supervision of students and academic theses
- Participation in the university's self-government
Your profile
- Completed doctoral studies in educational science or equivalent social science
- Research focus in the field of migration, diversity and education
- Experience with the conception, organisation and realisation of empirical research projects
- Excellent knowledge of empircal research methods
- Experience and willingness to engage in inter- and transdisciplinary and international cooperation
- Experience with conferences and publishing in an international context
- Teaching experience in higher education
- Profound knowledge of the German and the English language in speech and writing
- Social and communication skills, ability to work in a team, ability to work independently
- Interest and engagement for cooperation with institutions and individuals beyond the academic context
More Information
Benefits
The minimum salary as stated in the collective agreement and according to the classification scheme is EUR 1.973,00 gross/month. This minimum salary may be higher due to previous employment periods eligible for inclusion and other earnings and remunerations.
