Graduate Programmes are tracks of excellence for master’s & PhD students emphasizing internationalization, interdisciplinarity and employability.

Each Graduate Programme provides a stimulating environment tailor-made for Master and PhD students in order to build a successfull career and raise the main scientific challenges of our time.

They offer several advantages for the selected students such as access to interdisciplinary events (summer schools, seminars), call for grants (outward mobility grants), professional networking.

3 Graduate Programmes of excellence in Lille :

  • Precision Health” includes a course in Master Biology and Health (M2) and a PhD programme specialized in scientific, medical/pharmaceutical and (bio)informatics.
  • "Science for a Changing Planet" brings together 8 master degrees in chemistry, physics, biology and earth, and environmental sciences.
  • "Information and Knowledge Society” brings together10 master degrees in physics and optics, computer science, electronics, mathematics, cognitive sciences and philosophy.

 

What is funded

Applicants can either apply to the first year of a Master or for the second year of a Master.

Scholarships for the academic year are dedicated to students having the highest academic records.

The amount of the scholarship is 3 500 euros for the academic year.

Depending on the Graduate Programme, applicants can apply to an additional grant : the relocation grant, a contribution to the student travel and settlement costs. This grant is dedicated to student who is awarded the « scholarship for the academic year », having the highest academic records, newly arrived in Lille.

Eligibility

Applications to scholarships of the Graduate Programme are open to students who apply to one of the master’s degree belonging to a Graduate Programme.

Application process

The application process is as follows:

  • The student must apply to the scholarship offered by the Graduate Programme.
  • Alongside, the student must apply to one of the Masters that are members of the Graduate Programme

    Note that each Master has its own deadline for application.
