Sinophone Borderlands – Interaction at the Edges (Sinophone), Faculty of Arts – Palacký University Olomouc is interested in hosting applicants for Marie-Curie Martin Soukup Ph.D a Dušan Lužný, Dr. are
accepting future candidates for Marie-Curie Sklodowska Postdoctoral Fellowships, serving as the supervisors. The future Marie-Curie Sklodowska project should focus on global modernization (multiple modernities), ethnic and national identities, and (post)colonialism in South and Eastern Asia. Furthermore, the future research projects should be related to one of the following research topics:
· Cultural and religious traditions in Asia
· Nationalism and ethnicity
· Modernization and cultural changes
· Cultural memory and identity
· Changes of material culture
· Colonialism and post colonialism
Requirements for the candidates:
· Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology, Sociology, History, or other closely
related disciplines (Ethnology, History of Religions, Cultural Studies
and others)
· Good command of English (reading & writing)
· Good command skills of at fieldwork
· Profound interest in the given topic
