Eligibility criteria

Preferred additional qualifications include:

  1. Basic knowledge of Python programming language and Library.
  2. Basic knowledge of R programming and software environment.

Curricular scoring (0 – 30 points)

  1. Educational background and training for this position (up to a maximum of 10 points).
  2. Technical qualifications and previous accredited work/research experience (up to a maximum of 10 points).
  3. Accredited relevant acquired skills through prior positions (up to a maximum of 10 points).

Personal interview (0-20) Those three candidates who meet the requirements and obtain the best scoring based on academic merit and technical qualifications will be invited to a personal interview. Communication skills, enthusiasm, teamwork skills, and ability to integrate in multidisciplinary research teams will be valued (up to a maximum of 10 points).

Selection process

The selection process is governed by the principles of publicity, equality, merit, and ability, constituting the effect one selecting body composed of representatives of the group of research and of the Technical Unit of management of IBSAL.

The selection process will consist of three phases:

1. Analysis phase and curricular value of all nominations received, classified on the basis of better adaptation of the Curriculum Vitae to the profile established and compliance with the requirements.

2. Personal interview: the three candidates with the highest scores in the Phase 1 and 2 will be selected for a personal interview.

The selection commission will be made up of two members of the research team and one of the management unit who will be responsible for evaluating the capacities of each applicant with respect to the workstation. The members of the commission are:

Skills/Qualifications

The selected candidate will join the IMI2 HARMONY Project WP3 “Data Access”, under the coordination and supervision of GMV in Valencia, in their role of WP3 Lead.

Selected candidate will carry out clinical and Real-World data collection and processing activities, data analysis, data quality assurance and curation activities, harmonization to OMOP CDM, and development of indicators and statistics from different data sources and data providers in one or more of the seven disease pillars of the HARMONY project. They will also participate in meetings with clinicians and healthcare managers.

Specific Requirements

1. To have the Spanish nationality, a member country of the European Union or being an alien with residence and work permits in Spain.

2. Be in possession of: College degree required, preferably Graduate in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or similar. In case of qualifications obtained abroad, their approval must be accredited or in a position to obtain it.

3. The period since Bachelor's degree completion must never exceed 5 years (seven for disabled candidates)
