A contract is offered for a Bachelor's Degree in Geomatics Engineering and Surveying and a Master's Degree in the field of Geomatics Engineering and GIS, such as the Master's in Geotechnology and GIS Project Development, Master's in Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing, or equivalent degrees. Additional Information
2.078,10 gross € per month
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS, up to 3 points;
- Additional official university degrees (in experimental sciences or engineering) beyond the specific requirements: 0.5 points per bachelor's or master's degree, up to a maximum of 1 point.
- Training courses directly related to the tasks to be performed: 0.25 points for each course/seminar of 20 hours or more, up to a maximum of 2 points.
PROFESSIONAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE, up to 3 points;
- Work experience in the development of tasks related to: environmental remediation of contaminated soil in industrial or mining environments, environmental liabilities from coal and/or metal mining, use of specialized software applications for cartography, working with drones and satellite images; 0.5 points per year of experience, up to a maximum of 2 points.
- Participation in R&D projects funded through competitive calls or research contracts with companies on the specified tasks, 0.1 points per project, up to a maximum of 0.5 points.
- Articles published in journals indexed in the JCR on the topics of the specified tasks, 0.1 points per article, up to a maximum of 0.5 points.
IN PERSON INTERVIEW, up to 3 points
OTHER MERITS, up to 1 point.
- Participation in international conferences, publications in books, or articles not indexed in the JCR on topics related to the tasks to be performed; 0.04 points per merit, up to a maximum of 0.40 points.
- Stays abroad related to the topic of the position: 0.20 points per stay, with a minimum duration of 1 month, up to a maximum of 0.40 points.
Language certification (English) B2 or higher: 0.20 points.
Evaluation Committee
Tasks to be performed:
Fieldwork (sampling, mapping), laboratory, and office work (modeling). Characterization and mapping of soils and vegetation using satellite imagery, drones, and spectrometry; monitoring the effectiveness of recovery/remediation techniques for degraded/contaminated soils in the field. Participation in the dissemination of results. A driving license is required, as well as the ability to drive manual off-road vehicles.
