The selections are open to candidates, Italian or foreigner, in possession, on the date of the deadline for submitting applications for the admission to the selection, of a research doctorate (PhD) or equivalent qualification obtained abroad, or, for the sectors concerned, a medical specialization qualification. The educational qualification has to concern the research theme.

Candidates whom, on the date of expiry of the deadline for submitting applications for admission to the selection, are enrolled in the final year of a PhD course or a medical specialization course, provided that they are due to graduate within six months of the date of publication of the selection notice on the University's official notice board, may also take part in the selection process.

Further specific assessable qualifications (see Annex A):
Documented research activity on topics consistent with the research program at Italian or foreign institutions; research awards and funding on topics consistent with the research program; publications
on topics consistent with the research program.

Following the guidelines published in the procedure, the applicant must enter all the information required for the application, enclosing all documents in electronic .PDF format.
