ADEM info session for early-stage researchers

What to do at the end of my contract and what are the benefits of registering with the ADEM?

EURAXESS Luxembourg with the participation of two experts from the Agence pour le développement de l'emploi (ADEM) will address this question during an info session dedicated to early-stage researchers.

Steffi Wolak, Client advisor Senior executives/Recruiting firms, and Alex Erpelding, Coordinator of third country nationals unit, will share comprehensive information on job search and unemployment rights for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers whose contracts are ending.

The event takes place in the framework of the "2getthere" mentoring programme. PhDs and postdocs working in Luxembourg are welcome to join on a first-come, first-served basis. Seats are booked for mentees. 

This info session will cover the following topics:

• How and when to register to ADEM?

• What are my rights and obligations as a job seeker registered with ADEM?

• How to claim unemployment benefits as a resident or as a cross-border worker?

• What training does ADEM offer to help me adapt my profile to the needs of the Luxembourg job market
