EURAXESS Startup Hub

The EU-funded EURAXESS Hubs project improves the services of the pan-European EURAXESS network by mobilising a critical mass of both experienced and less experienced EURAXESS organisations.

Three pilot EURAXESS hubs have been launched: one cross-border pilot hub manages talent in academia and the public sector, another promotes and assists scientific start-up entrepreneurship, while the third hub focuses on researcher careers beyond academia.

Scientific start-up entrepreneurship

EURAXESS Luxembourg is involved in the cross-national Hub to promote and assist scientific start-up entrepreneurship (Hub 3), together with six other countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Estonia, Israel, Montenegro and Serbia.

 

Following Estonia and Israel, the EURAXESS Luxembourg Startup Hub Tour brought together a dozen sciencepreneurs from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Estonia, Malta, Montenegro and Serbia.During this two-day tour, they experienced how dynamic the Luxembourg entrepreneurial ecosystem is as they met major players:

 

Is Luxembourg the place to “make it happen” for sciencepreneurship? As part of the EU-funded EURAXESS Hubs project, sciencepreneurs from seven countries explored the Luxembourg startup ecosystem.

During the two-day tour from 29 to 30 June 2022, international sciencepreneur experienced how dynamic the Luxembourg entrepreneurial ecosystem is as they met major players. The participants were impressed by the dense support system dedicated to foster entrepreneurship they discovered and transnational cooperation have been discussed.
